About The Event

Join us for a look at what makes the ILS experience so different and special!

Our elementary and middle years programs are based on a deep understanding of childhood development, a learner-centered approach, and hands-on, authentic learning experiences. This session is designed to help you learn more our community, our approach, and our program. The session will include a formal presentation, a tour, and an open Q&A. This info session is designed for families with students entering G1-8 next Fall, but all are welcome to attend.

The following is a quote from a parent of an ILS fifth grader...

Throughout three years of being with ILS, we have seen tremendous academic growth our kid has undergone. The school kept pace with the fast-changing reality of the world, stayed flexible to adapt quickly and the learning kept on going. This whole process of adaptation with our kid directly participating in it was already a powerful lesson of resilience, grit and problem-solving, something that we see instilled daily at ILS.

What we also cherish in particular is the feeling of responsibility our child is developing towards his learning and the sense of ownership and the empowerment the school is giving him when it comes to his independent work. At the same time, team projects, collaboration, feedback and gratitude practice as part of our son’s daily experiences with his peers, guides and the larger ILS community, have significantly boosted his social and emotional development and formed the sense of school for him as a safe place to be, to grow, to make mistakes and learn.

We look at ILS not only as a school, but as a movement in education that we hope will reach out to make an impact in the lives of as many kids as possible.

** Please note: Prospective G1-8 students are welcome to attend this event. Prospective students will join members of our ILS team in our aftercare program.
